As we are practicing social distancing and are left guessing what tomorrow holds, it is important to remember that there is still much work to do. Even though we are not able to physically be together, we can continue to study nonviolence and hone our skills to build a better, more nonviolent tomorrow.

People often mistake nonviolence for being simply passive, the absence of, or the opposite of violence. Kingian Nonviolence is an active, systemic framework of both conceptual principles and pragmatic strategies to reduce violence and promote positive peace at the personal, community, national and global levels.
The Kingian Nonviolence workshops are transformational experiences that have helped thousands of people from around the world understand the depth of the philosophy of nonviolence, and learn to begin to bring the practices into their lives and their work. Now we are bringing it to Zoom in an all-new format for the RCNV.
Incorporating aspects of role-plays, small group activities, readings, video presentations, mini-lectures, and discussions, we explore topics such as:

Whether you are an organizer working for social change, a teacher trying to change the culture of your school or simply an individual trying to deal with the conflicts in your personal life, each person will walk away from our workshops with new skills and a new perspective.
This training will span eight (9) weeks starting Saturday, May 23rd, 2020 at 10am, each week featuring different trainers to facilitate the work.
This workshop expenses are supported via a gift economics model, similar to a sliding scale. Give what you can and help us be able to keep this information accessible and offer this training to people of all income levels.
